This course meets the requirements of the NDIS Approved Quality Auditors Scheme and offers you the units of competence that will enable you to progress your development in the learning pathway leading to BSB51615 Diploma of Quality Auditing.
If you wish to become and registered NDIS Auditor this is the first step. NDIS auditors must be affiliated as an employee or contractor with an NDIS Approved Quality Auditor and must also complete the NDIS Auditor Training that is delivered only by the NDIS Quality & Safeguards Commission.
If you wish to become a registered third-party, or external Quality auditor with Exemplar Global, completing this course is the first step. Once you have obtained the Exemplar Global competencies from this course, you can follow either a qualification-based or competency based certification path.
This course curriculum includes the two following courses Online Auditing a Quality Management System ISO 9001:2015 and Online Lead Auditor Training ISO 19011:2018. the following topics are included:
- How to apply Quality Management System audit principles and practices to ISO 9001:2015
- The personal and interpersonal skills required for auditing
- The processes involved with managing audit programs
- How to initiate and prepare for an audit
- How to conduct on-site audit activities, reporting on audit findings and conducting post-audit activities
- Appropriate oral, written and non-verbal communication techniques needed to lead an audit
On successful completion of this course, participants will obtain the knowledge on how to:
- Review auditee documentation
- Participate in developing audit schedules
- Identify, gather, analyse and evaluate information
- Compile results and report findings
- Assess the scope and objectives of a quality audit
- Communicate with an auditee regarding the proposed quality audit
- Identify the resources required to conduct a quality audit
- Develop and submit a quality audit plan
- Prepare and manage an audit plan
- Identify and prepare checklists and audit related documentation
- Conduct entry and exit meeting
- Guide team members in continuously improving their performance
- Negotiate the follow-up process with auditees
- Monitor and review audit systems and activities
There is an Assessment Workbook that must be completed for the curriculum and submitted to SAI Global for marking by an assessor after completion of the online curriculum. They will then advise if competency for the Units of Competency has been achieved.
